Sadly, I have to report that Kirk passed away this year, on April 25th, due to complications from several strokes he had in April. Kirk had a rough last couple of years health-wise -- he suffered a minor stroke in 2023, kidney failure in 2024 (which, miraculously, he totally recovered from) but then suffered these debilitating strokes this past spring. Even with his health concerns, he continued to enjoy his retirement, was looking forward to celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary, and remained upbeat about the future right up to the end! I know Kirk would have been happy to hear how his old buddies were doing, and he was disappointed that he wasn't able to make it to your last reunion.
